Re: batching dng to jpg conversions

Rei Shinozuka
it took me this long to get time to build the kipi plugins
and in the process had to get and build digikam 0.9.4.  i
had to by trial and error figure out the right libraries.

BATCH->CONVERT does make a group of DNG files into JPGs, but it also rescales
them down hugely.  the originals are 3920x2638 (10.34Mpx)
but the resulting jpgs  are 320x240 (0.8MPx).  i don't see how
to set a no-resize option, or at least a higher res.

thanks,

-rei

Re: batching dng to jpg conversions

Gilles Caulier-4
Batch convert use ImageMagick in background

Converting DNG to JPEG, IM will interpret DNG as TIFF file, no more, because it use libtiff... DNG is a TIFF/EP file format, using a reduced version of image (thumbnail) in first image TIFF data set. The real image is in second one...

To process DNG to JPG conversion in batch, use Batch RAW converter.
