I would just like to warn you that the MediaWiki / Wikimedia Commons export tool is not yet ready for release; it's ok to include it git for people who compile from source, but it shouldn't be part of a general release in its current state. There are a few bugs, as well as mandatory features that are still missing. I'll make a list of things that need to be fixed & added to make the plugin production-ready. If the plugin is released in its current state and people start using it, their account may be blocked by the Wikipedia & Commons community because the uploads don't conform to the community policies. It will cause frustration to our users, and it will make the Wikipedia & Commons community suspicious towards the plugin in the future. As you know, I'm eager to get the plugin released; we just need to polish it first. The plugin is an opportunity to recruit a lot of users, and I wouldn't want it to backfire on us. -- Guillaume Paumier [[m:User:guillom]] http://www.gpaumier.org _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

I supose that fixes must be done in libmediawiki, not in plugin as well. Please remember me later when plugin can be re-enable. It's important...
