Hi David,

In Fedora 14 digikam is available as version 1.9.0-1.fc14 - it works, &
if I wish, I believe I can download an rpm file from the 'net.

How much more help does a newbie require?  Perhaps.... you could compile
the version you want them to have as an .rpm & give it to them on a CD????
