Thank you Tobias. That was EXACTLY what I needed. It fixed my problem with
both digiKam and Kontact. I then had to tweak a few configuration settings
inside the applications but all is well with the world.
Although I prefer the Gnome desktop, two of my favorite applications are KDE.
When I could not find an answer to setting the fonts, I enquired in several
forums. You were the only one who provided the quick and easy answer. Full
marks to you
