Marty,

could you please post the output of the following commands from both machines
of:
# env | grep -i path
# env_svn.sh kde4-config --path services
# env_env.sh kde4-config --path module

Regards, Jens

Sure (Fedora 13 x86_64 KDE 4.4.2 | Qt 4.6.2):

# env | grep -i path
PATH=/usr/lib64/ccache:/usr/lib64/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/lib64/ccache:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/home/mck182/bin
WINDOWPATH=1
QT_PLUGIN_PATH=/home/mck182/.kde/lib64/kde4/plugins/:/usr/lib64/kde4/plugins/

# env_svn.sh kde4-config --path services
kbuildsycoca4 running...
/usr/local/lib64/kde4:/usr/local/lib64:/usr/local/lib:
/home/mck182/.kde-svn/share/kde4/services/:/usr/local/share/kde4/services/:/usr/share/kde4/services/

# env_svn.sh kde4-config --path module
kbuildsycoca4 running...
/usr/local/lib64/kde4:/usr/local/lib64:/usr/local/lib:
/home/mck182/.kde-svn/lib64/kde4/:/usr/local/lib64/kde4/:/usr/lib64/kde4/
