I sent in two bug reports yesterday related to kipi-plugins, but got
an email saying they were awaiting review since I was not member of that list. I haven't heard anything.... Just wanted to make you aware of these - here they again.. ----- **http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140477 Thank you for this feature, it seems very useful. However, Two issues: 1) I think that the user should be able to turn this on or off. There are times where I might not want to send the comments and would rather just have original file names. Some of my comments are also rather long and I'd rather have simple filenames. I think this should be accomplished with a checkbox in the dialog. 2) It fails with an error when comments have certain characters. For example, I get an an error box when a "?" is in the comment. ----- **http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146487 I set my maximum email size to 2Meg. Then when I try to email images that exceed this, the plugin error message says "Starting Mailer Agent". I suggest that a more useful error message be given like "Cannot Email - The email exceeds the user specified maximum email size - Please reduce email size of number of attachments". Thanks for a great program. ------ Sorry for my confusion. Geoff,
Please, please, please, use B.K.O to post comments about bug report. Uning a mailing list is always a wrong way because messages will be lost in the time... Also, all kipi-plugins maintener aren't in this ML. The right is [hidden email]. Posting a comments on B.K.O files will post also in ML. Cheers Gilles Caulier 2007/6/8, Geoff King <
