Hi,
I'm using digikam 3.2.0 on kde 4.10.3 "release 1" (opensuse 12.3). After the last update (I suppose, because before it worked) doing F4 in order to open a raw-file in the photo editor the raw import tool doesn't open no more. (The photo is opened directly in the editor). I looked in the configuration menu and I found that at the section 'raw decoding' the option "open raw import tool, in order to manually adjust .." (something like this - I use the German localisation) is (still) selected. What can I do in order to get the raw import tool opened. Thanks in advance! Not reproducible here. I use RAW all days through Raw Import tool.
What happen when you press F3 over RAW (preview in AlbumGUI) instead F4 (open in Editor) ? I suspect something broken in packaging. Check libkdraw component from kdegraphics. This library use an internal libraw. Also try Showfoto (stand alone version of image editor). Does it work with RAW ? And finally, run kdebugdialog and turn on all digiKam debug space including Digikam, KExiv2, and KDcraw. Run digiKam in a console and look printed messages when raw file must be open. Also, which RAW file type you want to open ? CR2, NEF, ARW, PEF, etc ???

Hi Gilles,
Sorry, my fault: I just - in this very moment - realized that I was opening a JPG-File. Best regards, Michael Am Sonntag, 30. Juni 2013, 12:10:58 schrieb Gilles Caulier: > Not reproducible here.
