Rating the AFC North teams by position, Part 3: Pass Receiver

Graziella
<br> The AFC North projects as one of the organizations toughest divisions in 2023, with all 4 teams' eyes set on a department title and a playoff run.  One can discuss the validity of each team's chances to reach that goal, but the reality is that the Cincinnati Bengals, the Baltimore Ravens, the Cleveland Browns, and our own Pittsburgh Steelers all think they belong in the conversation with the AFC's this collection, I will attempt to place the four AFC North groups by position.  Partially 3, we have a look at each team's wide receiver team.  We'll be considering the leading 3 projected receivers in each space to establish which group has the very best triad heading right into 2023.  Cincinnati Bengals2022 StatsJa'Marr Chase: 12 g, 87 rec, 134 tgt, 1,046 yds, 9 tdTee Higgins: 16 g, 74 rec, 109 tgt, 1,029 yds, 7 tdTyler Boyd: 16 g, 58 rec, 82 tgt, 762 yds, 5 tdAnalysis: The Bengals return not only the AFC North's top WR triad, yet probably the league's finest 3-man group heading into 2023.  On most various other teams, Tee Higgins would be the no.  1 target, yet Chase is just a various pet at WR.  In spite of an injury riddled '22 project, he still gained over 1,000 yds on an elite 134 targets 11. 2 tgt/gm).  The effectiveness dropped a little from his 2nd-team All-Pro, OROY launching period.  Expect a rebound from the generational receiver.  At WR3, it does not get better than Tyler Boyd across the league, and the do-it-all pass catcher is among Joe Burrow's favorite targets accurate downs.  Simply put, the cabinet is full in Cincy at Steelers2022 StatsDiontae Johnson: 17 g, 86 rec, 147 tgt, 882 yds, 0 tdGeorge Pickens: 17 g, 52 rec, 84 tgt, 801 yds, 4 tdAllen Robinson w/ Rams): 10 g, 33 rec, 52 tgt, 339 yds, 3 tdAnalysis: The Steelers directly defeat the Browns for the no.  2 area on this listing, and much of that is to do with the predicted ceiling of George Pickens heading into year 2.  Pickens is a Madden cheat code on opposed catches down the area and, with improved course running and YAC manufacturing, could leap into the Leading 10 receiver conversation by the end of the season.  Diontae Johnson is consistent even if he isn't flashy.  With what must be much enhanced QB play in 2023, DJ is positioned for a rebound period.  For Robinson, horrid QB luck has been a major aspect in his 2-year decline in production.  Possibly the youthful energy and stable environment of Pittsburgh will revive the fire in the previous Pro Bowl receiver.  The Steelers have done a superb job of bordering QB Kenny Pickett with a deep and diverse bevy of playmakers at Browns2022 StatsAmari Cooper: 17 g, 78 rec, 132 tgt, 1,160 yds, 9 tdDonovan Peoples-Jones: 17 g, 61 rec, 96 tgt, 839 yds, 3 tdElijah Moore w/ Jets): 16 g, 37 rec, 65 tgt, 446 yds, 1 tdAnalysis: Amari Cooper is an underrated receiver across the NFL, and is one of it's better course runners and service technicians at the placement.  He's the best all-round receiver for Deshaun Watson and must remain in for a big year if Watson can transform back the clock and rejoin the discussion of the top QBs.  By the end of the year, I project Elijah Moore will certainly be the team's WR2.  His development was severely stunted in a stagnant Jets infraction, but the flashes are great.  He'll locate an offensive atmosphere in Cleveland far more fit to his sillset.  Peoples-Jones is a great receiver too, but seems to have come to a head as a solid, upper-tier WR3.  The Browns receiver room looks Ravens2022 StatsRashod Bateman: 7 g, 15 rec, 28 tgt, 285 yds, 2 tdO'dell Beckham, Jr.  DNP) Zay Flowers R)Evaluation: The Ravens are crossing their fingers for continual health from Bateman and Beckham, and for the Rook Blossoms) to be a prompt impact starter for the recently expanded Lamar Jackson.  There's a whole lot of ifs and unknowns for this team, but Bateman showed a some good ideas in his short novice season, and we understand what a healthy OBJ appears like as recently as Super Dish LVI.  Flowers has an interesting skillset, and has been contrasted to previous Steelers terrific Antonio Brown as a route service technician.  That's an uphill struggle for the previous Boston College receiver.  Assumptions will certainly be high in Baltimore for this revamped getting corps in brand-new OC Todd Monken's scheme that will certainly try to win with the passing video game even more than the Ravens have ever before attempted in the Jackson period.  Next time on my AFC North Rankings by placement, we'll check out the limited end setting for each and every team and iron out the top system in the department.  What did you think about my WR rankings?
