Questions about strings in the "Save Images" settings dialog

Bugzilla from pano_90@gmx.net
Hi,

I'm currently translating digiKam into German and I found some strings that are stating opposite things:

src:/libs/dimg/loaders/jp2ksettings.cpp:75

"[...] <p>If this option is enabled, a lossless method will be used to compress JPEG 2000 pictures.</p>"

src:/libs/dimg/loaders/jp2ksettings.cpp:84

"[...] Note: JPEG 2000 is not a lossless image compression format when you use this setting"

Which one is correct?

(Same for the PGF settings)

(please CC me in your answers, I'm not subscribed to this list)

Thank you

Greetings,

Panagiotis Papadopoulos

Both are true.

JPG2000 and PGF use wavelets compression. If you don't use compression
level, compression is lossless. Else, you lost image informations.
