Pulling metadata from digikam to aperture.

Sherwood Botsford-3

A mac user on my network needs access to my photos including the metadata.

A first run at this has show that Aperture will maintain the file/album structure on import (each album is considered to be a project) but it ignores the metadata encapsulated within/beside the pics.

Is there any reasonable way to move the metadata?

I would be suprised that Aperture ignores the metadata. Maybe you forgot to activate the option in Digikam to write metadata into files rather than database.
