I am trying to compile digikam 2.4.1, but I am running into trouble even before that. me@ubuntu_box:~$ sudo apt-get build-dep digikam Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Note, selecting 'libltdl-dev' instead of 'libltdl3-dev' The following packages have unmet dependencies: libgphoto2-2-dev : Depends: libgphoto2-2 (= 2.4.10.1-2ubuntu5) but 2.4.11-natty~ppa1 is to be installed libkexiv2-dev : Depends: libkexiv2-9 (= 4:4.6.5-0ubuntu1.1) but 4:4.6.5-natty~ppa1 is to be installed libkipi-dev : Depends: libkipi8 (= 4:4.6.5-0ubuntu1.1) but 4:4.6.5-natty~ppa1 is to be installed E: Build-dependencies for digikam could not be satisfied. Any idea why this is happening? I just un-installed everything digikam I had. I was using Phillip's PPA. Thanks. |
Nevermind.... I will upgrade to 11.10 and try to compile 2.4.1 from there.
If you have suggestions let me know. O. On Mon, Dec 12, 2011 at 8:13 PM, ozzyprv <[hidden email]> wrote:

Looks like you have installed packages from my PPA or some other PPA
but then disabled it as source so now when you install stuff only have older versions that doesn't correspond to what you are trying to installed developer versions of. /Philip On Tue, Dec 13, 2011 at 5:10 AM, Ozzy <[hidden email]> wrote: > Nevermind....
