Hello,
I'm using DigiKam 0.8.1 on an Kubuntu/Breezy system.
I've purchased en Epson PictureMate 100 a month ago, and finally managed
to make it work using the latest gutenprint 5.0.0rc2 drivers suite.
However, when I try to print using DigiKam, the output of the printer is
not ok :
- the image is "mirrored" (I mean, what should be on the left is on the
right, and vice-versa) ;
- there is a big margin on top and bottom of the picture (when looking
at it vertically).
However, the colors are correct, and the rotation of the picture is ok
too (thanks to the auto-rotate option, included whithin DigiKam 0.8.1).
For your information, the printing from the Card reader of the
PictureMate, or from my Digital Camera (Canon Powershot A95) if ok, as
it is from the gutenprint plugin for The Gimp.
Has anyone experienced such problems with this or another printer?
Is there a way to correct this?
Thanks ;)
