I tried searching BKO but "raw" "Jpg",  are 3 letter words.

I have feisty kubuntu using digikam 0.9.1 and two issues are present for RAW
images from my Canon EOS 300D , also called Canon EOS digital rebel:

A)  RAW thumbnails rotated incorrectly for portrait mode

B) batch conversion of RAW images to JPG creates files  of "all black"
images.

I will try to build from SVN to test 0.9.2 trunk.

result from SVN compile:

a) RAW orientation still incorrect.  I will spend more time searching on BKO
before sending my test images.

b) RAW batch conversion creates JPG file.   RAW file is 5.1MB, JPG is 8.0MB.
  not sure if this should be considered an issue.

If you use digikam from svn, update Exiv2 to 0.14. This library handle Exif orientation tag from RAW file and some data decoding have been fixed with this release.

It's normal.  Kipi RAW converter create JPEG file without use compression to preserve image quality.
