I think every mail program has its own 'recipes', and it is one of the reasons you can choose one or another. But one has to learn to use its functionalities and put them to good use in order to organize his mails to his liking. And if you're not happy with what you can do with it, why don't choose another one? This has nothing to do with Digikam or whatever mailing-list or newsletter one has subscribed to.2018-02-23 13:24 GMT+01:00 Stephane Ascoet <[hidden email]>: Le 23/02/2018 à 13:00, [hidden email] a écrit : -- |

Go to menu "message", select > "make filter from message", select "add tag" > well... it's a bit more complicated, but I will give clues because I guess many of readers uses thunderbird: * right clic on any message and choose "tags" (Étiquettes in french), then manage, there one can create a new tag "digikam", with an associated color. * after that one can go to the filters and add this tag to mails coming from digikam may need some tests before it works and it is only local (do not add the tag in the mail when responding, at least I think so), the tag is *not* in the subject line. thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org |
Great idea! I've tried it, and it seems to be working great. I'll post detailed instructions on a separate thread with a new subject line. Thanks, Tac On Fri, Feb 23, 2018 at 9:13 AM, [hidden email] <[hidden email]> wrote: Le 23/02/2018 à 13:55, Daniel Bauer a écrit : |
