Hello,
I have in some photos some quite old photographic properties http://docs.kde.org/development/en/extragear-graphics/digikam/using-sidebar.html I updated the EXIF information from 4.6.2010 to 9.11.2013 rd@blackbox:~/Rohdaten/digiKam/Import$ exif --ifd=EXIF DSC00735.JPG|grep Date Date and Time (Origi|2013:11:09 15:00:75 Date and Time (Digit|2013:11:09 15:00:75 rd@blackbox:~/Rohdaten/digiKam/Import$ but digikam is not updating its fields (see attachment). Does digikam cache this information, if yes can I force a cache update? If not where, does digikam get the information from? Thanks, Rainer -- Rainer Dorsch http://bokomoko.de/ _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users properties.png (42K) Download Attachment |
Hi,
these information come from Exif/Iptc/Xmp metadata of course and are store in database To force digiKam to re-read these information, go to Comments/tags sidebar. On the bottom you have a drop-down menu to re-read info from file to DB. To process in batch, go to Tool/maintenance and turn of metadata stage to do the same. Many thanks for the superfast response, Gilles, worked very well.
In case somebody finds that in the archive: Captions/Tags is the correct name of the sidebar.
