Hi Ubuntu users that use my PPA I have just uploaded packages of Digikam 5 beta 2 for Ubuntu 15.10. Thank you so much for building digiKam packages for Ubuntu! I installed it on Kubuntu 15.10, and everything works like a charm so far. Dmitri, Nice to know! All features except multimedia support are enable as far as I know. I have to look into enabling it as right now ubuntu 15.10 give conflicting binary symbols as mixed versions of gstreamer will load at the same time and crash digikam 5. Question to users of my PPA with Digikam packages for Ubuntu. I'm working on packages of Digikam 4.14.0 and Digikam 5 beta 6 for Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) and it looks like there will be problems using outdated Marble with qt4 support that Digikam 4.14.0 use for maps in the geolocation feature. I suppose at some point Digikam 5 will come out of beta and we won't need Digikam 4 installed anyway.

I would say that it is better to have some geolocation function without Google maps than no geolocation at all.
