Hi all,
I saw an
email from Artur Souza about a program called Open Academy on a private kde-soc mailing list (so the link will not display unless you are subscribed). He asked KDE mentors to write possible projects like what we are doing for GSoC every year. The program is about partnering with some open source organizations whom providing projects and mentors, and selection/matching process is run to give student teams an open source project to work on, then the team fly to Facebook headquarters for 3 days hackathon to get introduced to the codebase and the project they will work on.
I think it will be great for us to participate in it, and I hope some of you guys are available for mentoring.
Here is the wiki entry for it.
