No Elements to use the resize-tool

cool.chris65
Hi,

I have a little problem with the resize-tool - when I try to resize a
pic, there is no element to adjust to change parameters as needed - just
an empty window on the right side. The buttons on bottom are allready
there (cancel, ok, ...)

My system:
(K)Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot, KDE 4.8.00 (Kubuntu-Backports), Digikam
2.5.0

Hmmm, You using tools-Resize Images, which opens a window Batch Resize
Images - digikam?
The top of that window is Type: with pull down box and Options, where
you select size and jpeg quality (for jpegs anyway).

There is also a  more comprehensive resize tool under Image Editor-Transform

(I run dk under SuSE 11.4)

Re: No Elements to use the resize-tool

Hello,

no, the resize during editing the pic, from the transform-menue.
The resize-batch is still working as expectet - actually I use it
instead of the resize inside the editor ...

It strange. I already fixed a widget layout problem in resize tool
settings view. I'm not sure if i fixed it on 2.5.0. Perhaps in 2.6.0
beta1.

2.6.0-beta2 will be out in few days. I recommend to test with this
version. Note that i cannot reproduce the problem here...

Re: No Elements to use the resize-tool

On Suse 11.4/KDE 4.8, DK is ver 2.5.0 at the moment.
Transform-Resize Image has Width and Height (absolute) and (%) tools,
plus New Size checkbox.
General and Advanced Settings tabs are grayed out

Sorry, Not a New Size checkbox, a "Maintain Aspect ratio" checkbox

Here same kde 4.7.2 digiKam 2.5.0

Never noticed before because I only use ¨new size¨ tab, but others are
indeed greyed out.

Re: No Elements to use the resize-tool

Peter Albrecht
Hi!

Same here with digiKam 2.5.0 @ kde 4.7.4 (gentoo linux):
The tabs "General" and "Advanced Settings" are grayed out.

But I currently have no 2.6.0-beta2 to test there.

Peter
