Modify color themes?

Brano
Is there a way to modify the color themes (gui color themes)?
I really love the Dessert theme but it does not play nicely with my KDE
color scheme I guess. Everything looks good except the menus are gray
with slightly darker gray text hard to read. I'd like to change the text
to black or something more contrast.

thanks

Re: Modify color themes?

Wilkins, Vern W
So does that mean the Digikam theme designer is gone for good?  Just curious because I did use that in the past to quickly modify existing themes and it worked well.  Certainly not a critical component, but it was nice to have.

Is thre a way to change the menu background color?
I mean the standard drop-down menus i.e. Album, Tag, Image ...
Or just to change font color for the menus?

The color set in my global KDE settings is almost as same as the text
color in Dessert menu and I hardly can see the text ...the point is, I
love the Dessert menu and I also don't want to change my global KDE theme.

So If I could possibly adjust the menu background or font that would be
fantastic ;) ...otherwise I'll just have to choose different theme or
change my global theme :(

Thanks,
Brano

No, you cannot.

The current digiKam color scheme will be migrated to Qt4 stylesheet in
the future. Current code is an hardoced solution inspired from Amarok
