Hi all,
I am a photographer and contributing to wikimedia commons. I am searching for an easier way to upload the files. Digikam is awesome and provides way to upload to many sites. Searched for mediawiki plugin and found that it is added in kipi-plugins 2.3 So, installed digikam 2.3 in my ubuntu 11.10 using the Philip Johnsson's PPA https://launchpad.net/~philip5/+related-software But, the mediawiki plugin is missing. Is there any way to add the plugin to digikam? It will make the life more easier. Thanks. -- Regards, T.Shrinivasan My Life with GNU/Linux : http://goinggnu.wordpress.com Free/Open Source Jobs : http://fossjobs.in Get CollabNet Subversion Edge : http://www.collab.net/svnedge _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
The mediawiki plugin is missing because it's disabled by the developers as it's not finished and have some problems if it would be in use. It's not something just in my build but in all builds. /Philip On Nov 29, 2011 12:28 PM, "Shrinivasan T" <[hidden email]> wrote:

To be clear, 90% of functionalities are done and work. It still 10%
which are important to complete tool. Mediawiki guy recommend me to disable tool until this part is not complete, else tool will be banned to post contents to wikipedia, due to lack some important information about contents to join. For details, look here : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206842#c11 Gilles Caulier 2011/11/29 Philip Johnsson <[hidden email]>: > The mediawiki plugin is missing because it's disabled by the developers as > it's not finished and have some problems if it would be in use.
