Missing icons on tools

Hi Folks,

With Digikam 5.6 from the PPA and from Appimage, the icons are missing on the tools. I am making a Udemy course on Photographing Wild Birds, and I want to include  a lesson on using Digikam, but doing that without the icons just looks weird. Is there a way to get them to appear?

I am using the dreaded Ubuntu 17.04.

Tested the 5.7 appimage quickly. It is working there, so I will use that for my video recording. Ignore the queued message with the screen capture then.
