Can you edit metadata with showFoto?
Any reference I can find on the Internet implies that you can, but I can find no way to turn on the editor. I am using showFoto version 3.5 running in openSuse 3.1 Thanks... No. Only digiKam can do it.

I have never seen showfoto without digikam (so the libs a here), but I use it alone very oftem as standalone photo editor I editing metadata would be a great thing thanks jdd _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Showfoto is a stand alone version of digiKam Image Editor. I can run
without digiKam. It do not support database. Sure we can add metadata editing support but it's not a priority. There is already a file in bugzilla about this topic. Thanks for the quick reply.
I would second the addition of the editor to showFoto. I many times have one or two photos to edit and digiKam is somewhat of an overkill.Thanks... Tom. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

In case you work with Linux/KDE, Gwenview can just do that for one picture at the time. check (in the German version) "Module/Bilder/Alle Metadaten bearbeiten" which probably translates in the English version to: "Modules/pictures/change all metadata" cu Peter _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
