Memory Problem [Bug 323888] and 4.9

Running Mint and just updated to DK 4.9  I understood that the memory
problem [Bug 323888] was fixed in this release, but a quick test shows
that the problem is still there.

Do I need to update anything else to fix this?

Please ask into the bug report #323888 instead the mailing list. Also,
report situation and information about to reproduce the dysfunction.
