I want to:
Keep original versions of videos I flip, because I need the originals if I edit them later. Also I'd like to manage (all versions of) videos with Digikam.
What would be a streamlined way to do this with Digikam? Is there way to tell Digikam that "this is new version" of a video or is there some trick to do the flipping within Digikam?
I've used ffmpeg to succesfully flip my videos.
