Manual geolocalization of pics

Hi,

I noticed that the GPS kipi plugin do need to connect to the dikam3rdparty.dot.free.dot.fr as to enable one to locate manually a picture on a map.
Unfortunately I'm not able to reach this URL due to connectivity problem (and I doubt it will change anytime soon). This is probably due to my location and the URL is timed out. Is there any other way to be able to use the plugin?

Afraid not. On this server is located script which preprocess map
services to make them suitable for display in plugin.
