Manage other files than pictures

Hello,
my digicam can - like most modern cameras - make videos too. Can I manage the
videos files with digicam too? Of course I won't have metadata and preview, I
just want to tagging support and the possibility to keep them in my
repository.

Florian, manage video files with digiKam isn't a problem, only preview of
video from USM camera interface can't display video preview actually. I'm
working to solve this problem with 0.9.0 release.

The only problem you may come across is that digiKam takes file
settings for previews from general KDE settings. In many cases default
settings can be too low to show thumbnails.

there is a problem on html export, the videos are not
exported, but a thumbnail is created (should not)
