There will be a Libre Graphics track that will be happening at SCaLE 16x
this year? It'd be super awesome! We are currently looking for speakers
as well. It is on Friday, March 9, 2017 - 10:00 to 17:00. Submit your

We'll probably be organizing a photo walk around the city of Pasadena
as well.
The deadline for submissions for speaking are January 10th (sorry for
the short notice). We'd love to hear all the ideas!

The libre graphics community is a collection of artists, projects,
developers, and users that strive to bring first-class tooling and
processes to those who work with images in its many forms: photography,
digital painting, pixel art, glitch, and more. Many libre graphics
applications are cross-platform, running on Linux, Unix, Windows, and macOS.
Libre graphics @ SCaLE will present talks designed for a general
audience of users and developers. Talks will vary in subject matter from
tutorials and workflows to project announcements and packaging.
When: Friday, March 9, 2017 - 10:00 to 17:00
SCaLE 16X – the 16th annual Southern California Linux Expo – will take
place on March. 8-11, 2018, at the Pasadena Convention Center. SCaLE 16X
expects to host 150 exhibitors this year, along with nearly 130
sessions, tutorials and special events.
SCaLE is the largest community-run open-source and free software
conference in North America. It is held annually in the greater Los
Angeles area.
