KIPI-plugin does not work

Martin Weberg
Hi,

I have problems with the kipi plugins for digikam 0.9.1 running on Ubuntu 7.04. I installed digikam and kipi-plugins package. When trying Batch processes such as Resize images I get the following error message: "Cannot start 'convert' program from 'ImageMagick' package; please check your installation."

Any suggestions?

Regards
Martin Weberg

Do you have `imagemagick` installed?
E.g., what is the output of `which convert`
on the command line?

Try the new digikam 0.92 version. You would need to add the digikam
repository as described in
http://www.digikam.org/?q=download/binary/

Of course you need imagemagick, you should check that, as Arnd suggested.

Thanks you all!

In some way I forgot to install ImageMagick.

Now it works.
