KDE Imaging Coding spring event 2011 : the digiKam team reunion...

Hi all,

As usual, each year we organize a reunion between all digiKam & co
contributors (as GoSC and SOK developers).

Last year, all peoples come in France : http://www.digikam.org/node/354

For this year, the subject is open. i can reorganize an event in
France, if necessary...

For the date, end of November sound like a good candidate.

Remember that travels and hotels will be reimbursed by KDE-ev. I also
some money from digiKam Europe association to pay food.

Any proposal ?

I would like very much to have it in Turin, it's a good place for
meetings as it's easy to reach by train/plain/car but really cannot
promise to have time to organize this, so whatever will be chosen will
be good for me

I'm still on holidays, I could try to ask ALID if we can
host the event again in Genoa when i'm back...

If there are no other suggestions, I could ask at the Linux Hotel here in
Essen, I think there have been a few KDE sprints already. Mid-december?
I wouldnt object to travel to some southern European city though if there are
proposals ;-)

We could try to host it in Genoa, but i need
a mail from you in witch you ask for the period (about of course)
and the people (again about), after that we have to find some internal
volunteers that can work on the event (accommodations, lunch, dinner, etc)
If we (and hope so) find them in a short time after your mail we'll confirm and
host the meeting.

For job reason i *should* be able to attend the meeting only here, apologize.

Please mail to cd at alid dot it, here in cc,  for the request.
