Hi,
I recently bought a Samsung GX-10 DSLR camera which does support the DNG (Adobe) RAW format. I have digikam 0.9.1 installed on Fedora 7. Yesterday I played (the first time) around with digikam. When I tried to convert some DNG images to jpeg I faced the following problem: on the right side of the picture appeared a broad bar with green lines. Furthermore there is a black frame around the picture. So my first guess is that the converter takes in more pixels then it should. Is this a bug or have I just overseen an option? I attach an example picture - I am not sure if it is possible to attach files anyway so you can have a look at the full sized picture here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stefan_grosse/529710460/ Neither Irfanview nor DIGIMAX RAW converter nor gimp/ufraw showed this ugly green lines after conversion ... Could you update to digikam 0.9.3. A lot of improvements have been made since 0.9.1 and in particular the problem you show should be fixed, if I remember correctly. Hi,
is there any Kubuntu/ Ubuntu repository for 64bit versions of DigiKam >9.2? I have only DigiKam 9.2 with the Kubuntu gutsy standard repositories. Achim Bohnet has a repository but not 64bit. Thanks for asking this. I am in the same boat, Gutsy on AMD64, and would
like to know too. Also I don't know if Achim has a 64 Bit machine around ... Would you be able to compile from source? I think that http://www.digikam.org/?q=download/svn under "Install digiKam for KDE3 in your Home Directory" are currently the most detailed instructions... Another option is to compile the packages as provided by Achim from source using the debian tools. Achim: do you think that this would be doable?
