Hi!
I'm Adam, 24yo, CS & IT student and developer (C/C++/C#,Java,Python) from Szczecin, Poland. IT&CS interests: cryptography, image processing, computer vision. I was taking a part in GSoC 2008 (with full success), so this year I would like to be a GSoC student again. Hope I will :) After review some of projects for this year I meant 'Non-Destructive Editing' seems to be one of those I was waiting for. This is the proposal I will apply to. Today I started getting familar with digiKam's code (previously I was only a user), and for some day I will ask for some tasks to do. Practice makes perfect. As far as I know KDE require reporting bugs/patches/code with new features before submiting application, am I right? Thank you :) AR _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Patch posted in bugzilla is the better way to contribute to digiKam project. About non destructive editing feature, please use this entry : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142056 Gilles Caulier _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

Please note that already two other students have signalled interest in this idea. Just to let you know, it is competitive ;-) _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
