Hello,
I just got my new
400D and I'm evaluating digikam...
I installed the
beta3 on ubuntu edgy and it's seems to work well...
I'm looking for an
input color profile to assign to the cr2 files created by my new 400D
....
Where should I look
???
Kind
regards
Etienne

You can use this file (binary compatible with digiKam), but certainly uncomplete (just my experience about profiles file provided with Canon camera). In fact, there is a risk to have a dummy result in digiKam (no color correction), because the profiles are uncomplete. This susbject have been already discuted in this room with Paco (another digiKam developper) - Second way, easy to do, download and install new BibblePro version on your linux and try to use icc color profiles installed into the system (here /usr/lib/bibblelabs/bibblepro/profiles) http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=36327 Gilles _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Thanks for you fast answer.. - I looked into the win 32 stuff from canon, but they have rather obscure filenames ( apart from the srgb,.. Profiles) - Thanks for the pointer to bibble, I' try this tonight!! They are in C:\Program Files\Canon\Digital Photo
Professional\DPP\icc
The ones for 450D is named 6131_std.icc and others starting with 6131.
For 350D I think it is the ones start with 6081.
I guess the bibble one is th last canon - canonf.icm, and for the 350D maybe canonb.icm. (can someone confirm
this?)

I don't know. You need to test... I have extracted another camera icc file from LightZone 1.6. This one use dcraw like an internal RAW file decoder (i have checked Java class (:=))). This is want mean than we can use without problem these files under digiKam : -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS 10D ISO100.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS 10D ISO1600.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS 10D ISO200.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS 10D ISO400.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS 10D ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25168 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1D MARK II ISO100.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25168 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1D MARK II ISO1600.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25168 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1D MARK II ISO400.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25168 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1D MARK II ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1DS ISO100.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1DS ISO1250.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1DS ISO400.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1DS ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25168 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1DS MARK II ISO100.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25168 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS-1DS MARK II ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS 20D ISO100.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25160 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS 20D ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25168 sep 20 10:24 CANON EOS DIGITAL REBEL ISO100.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D100 ISO1600.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D100 ISO200.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D100 ISO400.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D100 ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D2H ISO1600.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D2H ISO200.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D2H ISO400.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D2H ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D2X ISO100.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D2X ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D70 ISO1600.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D70 ISO200.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D70 ISO400.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 25156 sep 20 10:24 NIKON D70 ISO800.icm -rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 197 sep 20 10:24 README.txt Take a look here : http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/ICCPROFILES/CameraProfiles/LighZone.1.6 Gilles _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
