Import Tags/Categories

Hi all

I am on the way to migrate my foto-db from IMATCH (photools.com) to digikam.
I have around 6000 pictures taged with up to 5 categories/each on a
hierarchical base.
I am able to export by script all the categories to a flat file or even
better fill up the pictures IPTC fields.

Is there a way to import tags, or copy the tags from the IPTC fields
into digikam.
I checked the way to change the tables in the DB but I think the mistake
rate there is far to high.

Michael,

If imatch support tags record to IPTC directly, all tags will be
created in digiKam automatically when images will be imported.
