IPCT Extension 'Person Shown' is missing in the edit metadata window

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I installed the kipi plugins and I can see the
field 'Person Shown' in the metadata window under preferences, but I
can't find it in the metadata window.
Unless I can find it, I'm forced to use Lightroom for a while :(.
