I can edit metadata of RAW pictures, except with the Metadata kipi plugins editor

Hello, Thanks to Gilles, I have suceed in Digikam installation with the libkexiv2 0.18 and exiv2 0.18 support for writing possibility of RAW metadata. It seems to work fine, except that in the metadata editor Kipi plugins, the windows title indicates that I am in "lecture seule" (=read-only) mode when I try to edit metadata of Nef files. I may be miss something, but tag edit directly in Digikam works properly, as well the GPS information add (with kipi). I use libkipi 1.6 and kipiplugins 1.7 with calendar disable (because libkcal wasn't in repository and I don't really need it I suppose), libkexiv2 0.18 and exiv2 0.18. If I launch Digikam from a terminal, a warning message appears when I try to edit a NEF file with the metadata plugins. With KDE3, RAW metadata editing is limited and not tested fully. This is why i have set as Read Only metadata acess with Metadata Editor plugin. This is not the same with KDE4 version. Developpement team has fully switch to KDE4 now. KDE3 is only maintenened as well. It's require a lot of time to work on both branches. Thank you for your answer, but it seems a little too difficult for me now. It seems the way to compile the new Kipiplugins is different to "./configure make make install" (and the "INSTALL" file report to the "compiling KDE4 web page"...), and the dependencies needs "kdegraphics" wich one is a metapackage and call bad version of libkexiv2 and exiv2 in repository. So I think I have to install from SVN and it's too technical for me (I think). For this moment I can edit keywords directly in digikam and GPS coordinates with Kipi and it's very well. May be later, or may be when with a new version of Ubuntu (and new repository). Anyway thank you very much for all your work on Digikam !
