Howto do batch queue renaming

Matthias Albert
When trying to rename a selection of image files (from several albums)
using the batch queue manager, I encountered this trivial problem: it
does nothing.

I went these steps:
- selected some photos
- clicked "Batch Queue Manager"
- clicked "File Renaming"
- selected "Customize filenames" with "xyz-[file].[ext]"

The Queue #1 displays the expected original and target filenames correctly.

But the "Run" button cannot be activated, which might be caused by the
fact that the "Assigned Tools" list is empty.

Can anyone give me a hint how to use BQM for just renaming photo files?

Thank you in advance

Matthias

BQM is not for the simply file renaming. Use right click -> renaming (F3).
