How to ignore already well named files when renaming files ("OK" button greyed)

nonobio
Hi, When i rename files, if some of them already have the good name, they are red and i can't start the process because "OK" button is greyed. It could be good to ignore good named files and/or better, have the ability to check/uncheck (select/unselect) files in the renaming dialog. Renaming dialog Is there another method ? Am i doing something wrong ? Thanks

Hi,

In my case, the button is greyed out if the destination name appears more
than once in the same folder, or if the file name does not change.

I'm not sure if digikam can just ignore correct filenames, but it doesn't
seem so. In your case, I'd just select those files which do not have a
correct filename before renaming.

Maybe you can report a bug about the issue at
https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?list_id=1502064&product=digikam

A change in this behavior is included in digiKam-6.0.0. Feel free to give
feedback and use the AppImage.

This change is already included. Depends on the change at the IOJobs.
