How to do face detection?

Simon A. Eugster
Good Morning,

I've compiled digikam from git now (finally :D), and wanted to take a
look at the face detection.
After scanning a whole album with 100+ pictures of a photo shooting,
with always the same face on it, the result was: 0 faces found.
Scanning another folder with pictures containing several people
resulted in: 0 faces found.
Selecting «Add Face Tag» in the Album view on a face results in: Nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

Simon

Uh, okay, well, at least it looks like if it were working and uses
some CPU time :)
