How to disable automatic sharpen preview

Hi all!

My environment is:

DigiKam 4.12.0

OS: Ubuntu 16.04

When I edit my photos with Enhance>Sharpen>Refocus, I want to disable from automatic start of sharpen preview each time I attempt to zoom the photo.

This is quite annoying and makes difficult to move and zoom the photo itself and for this reason I prefer manually Try each time, using Preview on mouse-over.

Is it possible? How to proceed?

4.12.0... it's an old version.

Try the 5.9.0 pre release Linux AppImage that i just build and shared. You have the last code version suitable :

You're right, but that is the version I can install on my Ubuntu 16.04.

Anyway, somebody remember how (if possible) to disable the automatic sharpen preview?
