How to compile digikam when kipi-plugins is in non-standard dir? (2)

Gerben Roest
(Sorry to post this twice, It looks like the first time it got added as
a reply to another post)

I want to compile digikam and put it in
/home/software/digikam/digikam

when I have kipi-plugins installed (with -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX) in
/home/software/digikam/kipi-plugins

I can't find the -DCMAKE option to point the compilation of digikam to
that non-standard kipi-plugin directory. Can anyone tell me how?

thanks

Gerben

I do not think there is an option for that at compile time. As to my
knowledge, kipi-plugins are searched at run time in the plugin
directories of KDE - which are set through an environment variable.
Maybe you can search for "KDEDIR" to find out more.
