How to change basedir?

Bugzilla from jonas@buerse.de
Hi,

I like to change the path of my basedir and my digikam DB. My first thought
was to copy alle pictures and the database to the new destination, start
digikam and change the basedir in the configuration. But after that digikam
wanted to delete all database entries, because the files are not at the old
destination. So I think the pathes to the pictures are absolute and not
relative, so I can not easily copy all files.

What have I to do if I want to change my basedir without loosing any
databaseinformation?

thank you for your hopefully helping answer

Jonas

No. In database all paths are relative.
Don't know what's happening.
