Hi!
I set up a new debian sid install and compiled the latest digikam. I installed all necessary packages but the only language I can choose is American English. I also have a kubuntu install on which I also compiled digikam and there I am able to select other languages. What can I do to enable other languages in digikam? Yes, that is the way.
But he also needs to install the language packages of course :-) Tobias, make sure you have the appropriate language packages for KDE installed (usually called kde-l10n-LANG or similar). Probably there should be a digikam-lang or a
kde4-digikam-lang in the .deb repositories. I'm not sure what to do when Digikam is compiled from source. Of course I installed the the language packs! I even use the same in kubuntu
(broken translations …): tobias@siduxbox:~$ dpkg -l *kde-l10n* un kde-l10n <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) ii kde-l10n-de 4:4.3.2-1 German (de) localization files for KDE ii kde-l10n-engb 4:4.3.2-1 British English (en_GB) localization files f Am Mittwoch 21 Oktober 2009 16:36:11 schrieb Andi Clemens: > Yes, that is the way. > But he also needs to install the language packages of course :-) > > Tobias, > make sure you have the appropriate language packages for KDE installed > (usually called kde-l10n-LANG or similar). > > Andi > > On Wednesday 21 October 2009 16:08:25 Gilles Caulier wrote: > > Help/Change Language is not enough ? > > > > Gilles > > > > 2009/10/21 Tobias Schula <[hidden email]>: > > > Hi! > > > > > > I set up a new debian sid install and compiled the latest digikam.
