How can I change the digikam's language?

Hello!
I want to change the default language (English) in Italian language.
How can I do this? Thanks.

I have digikam 5.5.0 running on a new pc with Xubuntu 16.04 LTS and KDE neon 5.9.90 stable.

I think it's your system language by default.

But you could change it, and choose a primary (and even a secondary) language in the Help menu. In french it reads "Changer la langue de l'application".

By the way, I found the solution in the PDF manual, page 303.

In the version of digikam that is on my pc (5.5.0) there is not the voice "Switch to another language" under the Help menù.

oh, very new, great.

I my openSUSE 42.2 kde/plasma, it have the exact same interface than
5.4, that is same change language option

I've downloaded the appimage from Google Drive, then make executable and after execute.
On Splash Screen (and in the program) the text is in Italian... Great work and very easy to do.
