Highlight indicator RAW v jpeg

Francesco Scaglioni-2
Hi,

If I take a shot in "RAW + jpeg" mode and then (with
highlight warning enabled) open both files for editing the
RAW is displayed with significant blown bits but the jpeg is
shown as not having any.  Digikam 0.10 on ubuntu and a canon
450.

Cheers,

F

I am aware of the difference.  What intrigued me was that a
RAW imported without exposure compensation was reporting
blown highlights whilst the sibling jpeg did not : I had
expected it to be the other way round.

Regards,

Francesco
