Ideas that i will propose :
Add DLNA interface to digiKam : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269929 Video Slideshow generator : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=153061 Clone Tool for editor : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132483 Face Recognition : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=271679 Gilles Caulier 2012/2/7 Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]>: > Hi all, > > I just recieve a mail from Lydia Pintcher. The mask should be a 8bit greyscale image. The concept is already implemented in many image/photo editors. Editing of the mask should be done with krita components BTW maybe "Clone Tool" could use krita too. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

The current one requires at least 4 clicks per duplicate set, which makes it unsuitable for removing significant numbers of duplicates: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208713 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=240738 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=251664 Port MTP device handling to use the new MTP KIO slave (which should be in a better state by the summer). This is particularly important with android moving to MTP-access-only: http://quickgit.kde.org/index.php?p=scratch%2Fschmidt%2Fkio-mtp.git&a=summary When bluedevil is installed and you are connected to a device supporting obexftp access, let you download pictures from it like you can a camera or memory card. With so many pictures stored on phones, using bluetooth to get the pictures wirelessly would be very helpful. Port the image views to use the new file view introduced in dolphin 2.0 (once again, most of the kinks should be worked out by the summer) In order to support workflows found in most other photo album software, allow users to create albums (perhaps called "virtual albums") that do not exist on the filesystem, as well as save searches and pictures with particular collections of tags as albums as well. -Todd _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

I would think this would be interesting to other projects like amarok or phonon as well as KDE as a whole. Might it be better to make a generic UPnP/DNA server library and, as part of the project, provide digikam support through that? Also, hupnp is gplv3, I don't know if that could be an issue. -Todd _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

I'm not sure what is missing between the low-level library and the higher- level; sure this could and should be written as reusable code > > Also, hupnp is gplv3, I don't know if that could be an issue. I'm not sure there is a better option. Suggestions are welcome. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
