Gallery export not working

Wojciech Jarosz
Hi all,
I just started using Digikam recently and wanted to try out the
Gallery export functionality. I set up a Gallery2 on my website
(Gallery version 2.2) but when I try to connect to the gallery using
the sync to gallery plugin I get:

"Failed to linin into remote gallery. Gallery URL probably incorrect
Do you want to try again?"

I tried this both using digikam 0.9.1 and 0.9.2 with the same results.

I found the following bug report which claims this issue (or a similar
one) is resolved http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142259.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a regression and I should post
a new bug report?

Thanks,
-w

You are one the wrong list for this one, kde-imaging is the correct home
as the gallery export is a Kipi Plugin and not part of Digikam directly.
Hence why changing to 0.9.2 didn't make any odds.

The latest release of kipi-plugins shoudl fix the bugs that prevented
correct operation of the gallery 2 export.

Please open about against the gallery export plugin in BKO if the latest
packages do not work for you.

Cheers

Col

Sorry, I didn't realize this is the wrong place. I'll check kde-imaging, thanks.

It's OK. It would probably be me who replied there anyway..... I'm just
thinking of the poor mail archive here :)
