Hello
Since quite a number of years digiKam is my trusty photo management application. As RAW developer I really favor Photivo from http://www.photivo.org So I had the thought that it likely is possible to improve integration and interaction between digiKam and Photivo. I have some quite tangible ideas and also took a shy look on both code bases to ensure I am not totally of the mark. Is there some interest in this topic? I would be glad to describe my ideas in more details. Maybe even someone could imagine to mentor me on this as Google Summer of Code project? I assume that could be a good starting point to get into KDE/digiKam development :-) Dominic _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |

The list of GoSC 2012 have been closed. We cannot mentoring more than
10 projects open, excepted if another mentor can follow a student... http://community.kde.org/GSoC/2012/Ideas#digiKam Gilles Caulier 2012/3/21 Aayush Kothari <[hidden email]>: > > > On 21 March 2012 05:54, Dominic Lyons <[hidden email]> wrote: >> >> Hello >> >> Since quite a number of years digiKam is my trusty photo management >> application. I've been a Digikam student in the GSoC 2011, and I like your proposal, so I can mentor you. I already applied for being a mentor, wait and see. Please send me your proposal (in private), or at least your early thoughts about it. -- Benjamin. _______________________________________________ Digikam-devel mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-devel |
