Hello everyone,
I am Saheb Preet Singh pursuing B.Tech. (IT ) from University School of Information Technology (USIT), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi, India.
I am interested in a digikam project " Add a quick access to Labels in dedicated tree-view " for GSOC 2014.
About Me:
I am new to open source and had recently solved some bugs in kde (okular). I have a good knowledge of C/C++ and JAVA.
I have a basic knowledge of QT and solving some bugs in kde:-
I am looking forward to contribute in kde and interested in the above mentioned project.
So far I had read some part of the digikam code about how album, tags and other tabs are implemented on the left side bar and studied about the bug like what features are required.
It would be great if someone can guide me on how to start work on this.I want to get accustomed to the existing code base and start contributing before writing my application for GSoC 2014
