Font size on thumbnails too small

Alexander Filep

Hi,

I am running DigiKam 0.9 on openSUSE 10.2 and I am having a bit of trouble
with thumbnail font size. It's too small and I can't seem to find a way to
change it. I am using Tahoma 8 as my general font in KDE. For my full font
setup please see this link:

http://en.opensuse.org/Optimal_Use_of_MS_TrueType_Core_Fonts_for_a_KDE_Desktop_on_SuSE

It appears that DigiKam is hard coded to reduce the size of thumbnail fonts by
2 points from whatever the general font size is set to, which in my case
makes it almost ineligible. Any suggestions on how I can fix this (other than
the most obvious one which is to increase the size of general font)?

Thanks,
Alex

I have the same setup and the tooltip fonts have always been this way. It
bothers me too, although the side bar allows me to read the Exif data anyway.

It would be good if there was a setting in DigiKam to tweak the font size.

There is a wish in B.K.O about this subject. Vote for it...

I'll do that as soon as it starts being slightly more responsive. Perhaps
there are just too many bugs in KDE at this time...

Ok, thanks. I've just realized that in my message I wrote "ineligible" instead
of "illegible"! Obviously there's a big difference between the two!! Good to
see that the intended meaning still got across :)
