Re: Filtering Question

Rinus
Hi David,

According my own experience your observation is right. There are several
workarounds.
If you make all your collections, subalbums of one master album, you can
filter on your masteralbum which contains all of your photo´s.
If you make all your tags subtags of one mastertag, and you want to
filter on tags, select in leftpane your mastertag and filter in
rightpane on all tagged photo´s.
If you give all your pictures a certain tag such as ¨myfoto¨ select
¨myphoto¨ tag in leftpane´s tag tab, and filter in right pane on all of
your photo´s.
If you use ¨search¨ tab in left pane, it will search on all photos in
the db, not just one collection.
If you find another maybe better one, please let me know.

Good luck,
Rinus

The upside is the possibillity to limit to a subsection of your
collection, and this subsection can include all your photo´s if you make
one root album.
btw you know of the menu entry ¨View->include album subtree¨ and
¨View->include tag subtree¨

Not neccesarilly. If the are in the same collection. In the filters tab
is an icon to select ¨and¨ or ¨or¨ search.
